No one beats Coach Murphy! He is positive, understands the game isn’t just about physical ability but mental as well. He takes the time to explain the reason behind a drill and what the ultimate end result should be. His understanding of softball is leaps and bounds above most and Bri looks forward to her time with him each week. She’s progressed so much and it’s all thanks to him.

Coach Michael Murphy joined the Innovative Fastpitch team in November 2021. He brings a vast amount of knowledge of the game with his experience. Coach Murphy played 2nd Base at
Montclair State University where he helped the Red Hawks win a Division 3 National Championship.
His experience also includes; coaching baseball at the High School level and softball at the Club level. Coach Murphy currently works as an Elementary School Principal in
West Berlin, NJ.
What sets Coach Murphy apart is his ability to intertwine his educational background into his instruction. He has the ability to breakdown skills to allow athletes of all levels to understand.
Coach Murphy is a firm believer in coaching the mental aspects of the game during his lessons.
Athletes are able to gain strategies on how to maintain a positive mindset during competition.
