Coach Kelsey brings knowledge of the game from all levels. She played Division I softball for 4 years, coached 6 seasons in Division I and played 1 year of Professional softball. Throughout her college coaching years, she has experience instructing pitching, infield as well as hitting. Before entering college, Coach Kelsey earned Gatorade Player of the Year for New Jersey as well as Player of the year for Gloucester County Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, Courier Post and the South Jersey Coaches Association in high school. She began her collegiate playing career at Temple before completing her remaining years at Coastal Carolina. While with the Temple, she earned Atlantic 10 All-Rookie honors, 15-8 record in the circle, broke the Temple Rookie homerun record and became just the seventh player in Division I history to hit a home run in five-straight games. Following the dissolution of Temple’s softball program, she transferred to Coastal Carolina where she earned All-Big South Honorable Mention as a pitcher, First Team All-Big South as a utility player, second in the league for wins and tying 2nd in homeruns and RBIs. She’d become the third player in Coastal Carolina history to be drafted professionally as she was selected 12th overall by the Future 1s in the inaugural American Softball Association (ASBA) Draft. • Played for Temple University (D1) and Coastal Carolina University (D1) • Played Professional softball in ASBA’s inaugural year for 1 season • Coached at LaSalle University (D1) for 2 years • Coached at University of Pennsylvania (D1) for 1 year • Coached at Saint Joseph’s University (D1) for 3 years • Participated in 3 NFCA Coaching Conventions • Has been a private instructor 10+ years Coach Kelsey has an understanding of what is truly needed at the next level after high school from her experience of recruiting and coaching in college. She will assist you in learning the recruiting process and how to get yourself noticed. Coach Kelsey wants players to become the best version of themselves and will get to know each player to know their exact needs. When Coach Kelsey is not instructing, she is working as an administrative assistant helping individuals with a disability get the services that they need or at the gym doing Crossfit
